Our story is one of passion, perseverance, and a deep love for the tranquil beauty of island living. For many years, we worked tirelessly in our respective careers, always with an eye on the horizon, dreaming of a future where we could relax and soak in the joys of life. As we near retirement, that dream has begun to take shape in the form of our beloved home, Shades of Blue, nestled in the stunning Exuma, Bahamas.
This journey began long ago, driven by our shared vision of creating a sanctuary where we could escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We were incredibly fortunate to discover this slice of paradise, where crystal-clear waters meet pristine beaches, and life moves at a slower, more peaceful pace. When we first laid eyes on it, we knew this was the place we would transform into our dream home—a perfect retreat by the beach.
With decades of experience in construction and development, we set out to create a space that was not only luxurious but also reflective of our personal tastes and the natural beauty surrounding us.
